As I posted a while back, I’ve finally hit level 70 on my feral druid. I’m gathering up a lot of good tanking pieces, but the more I tank, the more I wonder if it’s really what I want to do. It’s certainly more engaging than DPS, and since there tends to be a slight problem find a tank for an instance, I’m always in a group in no time.
But, I’ve done a little higher-level healing as a druid, and I have to say, I think I really enjoy that more. I even specced resto with Tasmyn at one point, which lasted up until I tried to do my dailies and kill something. I can’t imagine farming for primals or something with a resto druid.
So, I posted on the WoW forums for help. Leveling feral, I passed up a lot of (read: all) good caster/healer gear in Outlands. My idea was to level another druid as balance, maybe spec into a hybrid Moonkin/resto build in the early 60s, and have enough +damage gear at 70 to be able to do some killing as resto if I need, and still have a feral druid to farm with.
The other possibility is get my level 60 hunter to 70 to farm (I hear they farm well, but honestly, I enjoy farming on my druid more than my hunter) and speccing Tasmyn as resto and just buying/picking up some resto gear from the AH and dungeons. Then again, it is nice to have a tank, and I do enjoy tanking quite a bit.
What do you guys think?

Patch 2.4.2 brought a bit of goodness to the mages out there: a new portal to Theramore. This makes it a whole lot easier (especially for Alliance) to get to the lower-half of Kalimdor from Azeroth (or northern Kalimdor).
Being a mage (at level 40), I can do portals to a few useful places. I usually post my “goods” in trade chat. There are a lot of Portal (as in, the Orange Box game) references in player chat anymore (cake, anyone?), so I decided to do something a little different:
[2. Trade] Celidur: Have Portals, Will Travelâ„¢, a subsidiary of The Aperture Science Arcane-Aided Enrichment Center, is currently recruiting test subjects for research in instantaneous transportation between remote locations.
[2. Trade] Celidur: We are currently testing portals from any non-Outland city to Stormwind, Ironforge, Exodar, and Theramore. For a small fee, you can be a part of this experiment. There will be cake! (Weighted Companion Cube not incuded; validity of cake not gauranteed.)
I also have a few things I say to the people I’m actually portalling, to shake things up a bit:
Celidur says: Hello, and again, welcome to the Aperture Science Arcane-Aided Enrichment Center. Your specimen has been processed, and we are now ready to begin the test proper.
Celidur says: Please note that any appearance of danger is merely a device to enhance your testing experience.
Celidur says: The enrichment center is committed to the well being of all participants. Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all–except the ones who are dead.
After I spammed by trade channel ad, I got several people whispering me saying everything from “lol” to “That is the most genius reference to Portal I’ve ever seen in WoW…grats.”

In a flood of information, players of World of Warcraft awoke today to torrents (or storms) of information on the upcoming expansion on Wrath of the Lich King. I won’t bore you with all my thoughts (for now)–just go check out the information.
Holy cow, just ignore those links and check out the mega-thread at the WoW forums at http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=6408021104&sid=1.

After leveling thousands of toons to 20, hundreds to 40, and 3 to 60, I finally have a level 70 character–my druid, Tasmyn. Since I got Flight Form at level 68, I didn’t have that to look forward to, although now I’m saving for my Epic Flight Form.
I went straight to the acution house and purchased my Heavy Clefthoof set. I’ve been following BBB’s excellent list of starter feral druid tanking gear, and those three are a given. I gemmed them out with tons of stamina and a bit of defense (to help out until I can get 415 defense without those particular gems), and proceeded to tank Shadow Labs, which I’d never run before, at the request of a friend of mine.
I also went to the Isle of QQ and did the daily quests there; a neat place, though I really do wish I could fly.
So much to do, so little time before Wrath comes out!
