Different This Time
Posted on February 9, 2009 under My Play | No CommentWorld of Warcraft is an ever-changing game. While reading this post, keep the date it was written in mind—changes may have occurred since then!
As mentioned in my rather short previous post, I finally hit 80 on my most recent character, a death knight on my friend’s server (which I’m calling home now, so I guess it’s my server, but that’s confusing). Last time, I was mid Sholazar Basin, leaving me with the rest of that zone, Storm Peaks, and Icecrown to quest for gold. This time, I dinged near the middle of Zul’Drak, quite a bit earlier.
Although this gives me *ton* of leeway on my way to 5000g (I have about 2000g now, after training level 80 spells), I think I’m going to go about it a bit differently this time around. Last time, I continued questing until I had achieved Loremaster of Northrend (doing basically every quest I could find in northrend). This time, my focus is going to be on heroics, professions, and getting geared for raiding.
Dinging 80 meant I got to equip my awesome Titansteel Destroyer, made for me by a guildie as a surprise.
